Lots of hard labor went into constructing the tap room at Brooks Brewing. Likewise, lots of tasting went into development of this English brown ale. Occasionally these two duties (construction and sampling product) would occur simultaneously. It was when we noticed that the inside of our brewers welding helmet smelled of freshly cracked malted barley that the name of this beer was born. Expect bigger, more malty flavor than the average pale ale.
